A Reflection on Humanity, Disconnection & Returning to the Root

Introduction

For many years now, I have deeply felt — and witnessed through my work — that humanity is craving change.

Most of us can sense it.

There is a saying many of you have no doubt heard before:

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

And while those words are beautiful, for many people they can also feel incredibly overwhelming.

Because through my work, I have met some of the most caring, thoughtful, and heart-led humans imaginable. People who genuinely want to create change in the world.

And yet, like myself at times, many also quietly ask:

But where do I even begin?

How do I create change in a world that often feels chaotic, disconnected, and overwhelming… when half the time my own life already feels like a lot to hold together?

How do I help humanity when I am simply a single mother living in suburbia, trying to keep up with the pace of everyday life?

For many years, I sat with these same questions.

And paradoxically, the answer I kept being led back to was this:

Change begins within.

But for a long time, even that idea felt abstract to me.

What does that actually mean?
How do we create change within ourselves?
Where do we start?
And what does that look like in real life?

Over time — through my work, my own healing, deep reflection, embodiment practices, and what I can only describe as intuitive insights or inner guidance — I began receiving practical answers.

Not answers that asked us to escape being human.

But answers that invited us back into it more fully.

I have always been someone drawn toward practicality and groundedness, and these writings are an extension of that.

Whether you call them intuitive downloads, reflections, transmissions, contemplations, or simply thoughts arising through consciousness itself, these blog posts and accompanying practices are ultimately an invitation:

An invitation to return to yourself.

Because real change does not begin “out there.”

It begins in the living rooms, the hearts, the nervous systems, and the inner worlds of ordinary human beings.

It begins with mothers.
Fathers.
Sisters.
Brothers.
Individuals quietly trying to find their way back to themselves amidst the noise of modern life.

And perhaps that is how we begin reseeding the roots of humanity itself.

One person at a time.

One breath at a time.

One moment of reconnection at a time.

So as you read these reflections, there is no need to force understanding or seek perfection.

Simply allow the words to land in whatever way they are meant to land for you.

This is not about “fixing” the chaos of life.

It is about finding small moments within the chaos where you can remember something deeper.

Not just intellectually.

But within your heart.
Your body.
Your soul.
Your nervous system.

A remembering of the wholeness of who you truly are.

So please, enjoy this first of many reflections and practices I will be sharing.

This is my gift to you.

The Homeostatic Tipping Point

There is always a tipping point — a junction where the upward flow stagnates and begins to descend.

Humans often relate to this through the concept of the bell curve, but beneath that is something deeper: a homeostatic set point. A balancing point. A moment where a system either recalibrates… or begins compensating in ways that eventually create collapse.

Humanity appears to be approaching that point now.

It is similar to what happens within the body when the internal ecosystem becomes too acidic. The body begins drawing alkaline minerals and proteins from the bones in an attempt to restore balance — trying to prevent the system from destroying itself.

Nature is always attempting to preserve life.

And humanity is no different.

The protection and continuation of the human species requires a return to self. A return to the root system. A remembering of the intelligence of the Earth and the goodness that nourishes life itself.

A tree must first be grounded before abundant growth can occur.

There must be a relationship between the soil and the root network — a living exchange of nourishment, information, and coherence.

When the roots are tended to first, energy can bond again. Information can flow again.

Energy is information.
Information is energy.

Yet this exchange has become altered — and in many ways, severed — through the rise of modern “conveniences.”

A way to do more, but not necessarily to be more.

Doing is part of life. We must participate in life. But overdoing has created a system of chaos, overwhelm, and fragmentation.

There is an order of alignment to life that humanity has drifted away from.

This is the true tipping point.

The condition of our social networks reflects the condition of the inner self. The health of humanity mirrors the health of the planet.

We are witnessing a shift in energy, and many people can feel it.

But energetic awakening alone is not enough.

The deeper shift begins with self-understanding.

Disconnection from self is also disconnection from the Earth, from flow, from coherence.

This disconnection is amplified through:

  • the quality of nourishment we consume,
  • the blockage of internal flow systems,
  • emotional environments,
  • chronic stress patterns,
  • and the landscapes of thought we continuously inhabit.

In many ancient systems these inner pathways were described as meridians, nadis, or energetic channels — root systems within the human body that nourish the whole being.

If the roots of a tree are severed, the tree cannot receive what it needs to thrive.

The same is true for us.

There is also an armouring that occurs around the heart space.

This armouring blocks the synthesis between the lower and higher aspects of ourselves. It disrupts integration. It prevents coherence between instinct, emotion, wisdom, and spirit.

The flow stagnates.

And external influence has amplified this stagnation.

The constant pull of media, noise, distraction, and external attention has become one of the greatest attentional diversions of our time.

This is not inherently good or bad.

It is simply choice.

Every moment of attention either moves us closer toward ourselves… or further away from ourselves.

Closer toward inner knowing.
Or further into fragmentation.

This inner network of being is not separate from the greater network of life.

As Matías De Stefano has described, each human being is like a neuron within the living body of the planet — a receiver and transmitter of information.

So ask yourself:

What would happen if more than half the neurons within a brain were receiving distorted or scrambled information?

How would that brain think?
Feel?
Behave?

Perhaps we do not even need to answer the question.

We can already see it unfolding within humanity.

Simply look around.
Sense into the world.
Notice.
Feel.

What is the current health status of humanity?

This is the call to service.

Not service through force.
Not service through fear.
But service through reconnection.

Many people want to contribute to change, yet feel overwhelmed, helpless, or unsure where to begin.

But the beginning is simpler than we have been taught.

It begins with returning to ourselves.

Because service to self — in its truest sense — becomes service to the greater network of humanity.

The Practice

Sit somewhere you feel safe and comfortable.

Close the windows of your eyes.

Slowly draw your awareness back from the outer world and into the physical body.

Notice what shifts.

Stay with the breath.

Observe the quality of your breathing without judgment, and gently allow it to soften and deepen naturally.

Continue returning.

Feel life itself moving within you.

Remember that you are life — a living, breathing expression of creation itself.

Then notice the pull of attention away from this connection.

Notice the distractions, the mental noise, the urges pulling awareness outward.

And each time, simply guide yourself back.

Back to the grounded.
Back to the delicate.
Back to the living presence within you.

Breathe out the doubt.
Breathe in the life.

Take your time here, and allow the current of the thinking mind to gently settle.

You are a living, breathing, electrical, pulsing neuron of the planet.

Your whole body and energy field are both receiving and transmitting.

Moving back to the breath, and back to the body, gently ask yourself:

What two parts of me need reconnection today?

What two parts of me need to reconnect in this moment to improve, elevate, or restore the flow of inner source information?

You may simply sense this.

Allow it to land as a concept, or perhaps even feel the inner connection beginning to happen.

Maybe you notice a deeper breath.
A slight shift in awareness.
A softening somewhere inside.

Or perhaps you notice nothing at all.

That is okay too.

The seed has still been planted.

Come back to this seed of your inner source often, because this is where the searching for more begins to settle.

This is where the ocean and current of life start to reveal themselves.

This is where you begin to water the seed of the source within you.

Take a moment now to breathe into your heart space.

Allow any locked doors to begin clearing or opening.

This allows your inner current of attention to flow more freely.

And trust.

Trust that you have been guided toward this transmission today as a reconnection to your own inner source.

Bringing your attention here is enough for now.

A simple practice is powerful.

Like a dam allowing the directional flow of a stream to shift, this practice invites your inner current to remember its natural movement.

That is the purpose of this practice today.

We do not need to seek perfection.

We simply seek intention.

We seek the great reconnection.

And this starts with you today.

You are not only loved.

You are love.

So thank yourself.

I can.
I will.
I am.

Return often to this practice to water the seed that has been planted.

Much Bodily love and Wisdom
